Jon Culp began writing in the high mountain desert of North Central Washington. He and his wife of 30 years now live in Bellingham where they recently moved to help hone his craft. Currently, he is a Content Evaluator for poetry for the 59th edition of Jeopardy Magazine at Western Washington University. He has worked in natural resource conservation for decades and played in the mountains since childhood. A husband, father of five children, a grandfather, and the one-time mayor of his hometown, his writing is an eclectic mix of his perceptions of the natural world and how we participate in it.
