Kate has a back ground in journalism and  in the health sector.  She has written for a health magazine  for 5 years before doing her masters in writing. She was lucky enough to come across the Lucy Daw diaries at the Royal Adelaide Hospital while doing research for the writing history subject.

When she isn’t writing she teaches yoga and is a full-time mum.
