Sandra Renew was a featured poet for a third year at the National Folk Festival 2019.
Her poetry includes a range of critique and commentary on issues such war, guns, gender, refugees, and gay and lesbian politics.
Her recent publication Acting Like a Girl is published by Recent Work Press 2019; she has three chapbooks available through Ginninderra Press, including The Orlando Files 2018.
She is a co-editor of the women’s on-line poetry journal Not Very Quiet.
She is recently published in Atlas Poetica: 25 Death Poems; Westerly; and Hecate: Queer Legacies, New Solidarities.
