Alison has written two novels, Peter Stone and The Close, and an anthology of stories. Her stories have also appeared in Pendulum Papers, Backstory Journal and Ampersand. She has written extensively for Melbourne Writers’ Theatre, Baggage Productions’ Madwomen Monologues and the Legends of the Skies Series. Her play Rainbow’s End appeared in the 2019 UNESCO City of Literature OAP Festival, Dunedin.
Alison has gained a number of awards and commendations for her stories and plays, including: First Prize, ABC Radio Northern NSW Short Story Competition (2009); Second Prize Monash Short Story Competition (2021), Third Prize, Chorley & District Writers’ Circle Short Story Competition (2020); and Best Playwright, Monash OAP Festival (2019).
