Once tall proud men

Remembering those who went before them

Marching for those who cannot and those left behind

Lives lost, lives mourned, tears shed

Once tall proud men

Proud families watching, tears in their eyes

Struggling to make sense of the feelings of loss

Friends made, friends lost

Once tall proud men

Tears in their eyes

They have lived their lives as others should have

They have honoured those who did not return

Once tall proud men

Stooped with age, weary with life

Marching for those who cannot

Tears in their eyes

Memories never fade

Stories untold

Once tall proud men

We honour you and your fallen comrades

Feelings never change
